I’m super tired today.
You know those weeks where the extra things get on top of you?
Your old knee injury plays up.
Your kid needs help with a school volcano project.
Your boss wants you to do a fancy presentation for the next meeting.
Your cat vomited on the carpet.
I’m having one of those weeks.
It’s not all bad.
There was a good outcome. I took a trip to see a specialist about my shoulder.
I don’t need surgery, thank goodness. But he confirmed I did dislocate my shoulder last November, and the damage isn’t going to be a quick fix.
They figured out I’m hypermobile (I can bend my fingers, wrists, and arms into all sorts of weird positions) and that makes dislocation all the more complicated.
I’m in for a long-haul recovery period.
But no surgery just now—so I’m happy about that.
Still, the trip away and hours of driving with a sore shoulder has left me exhausted.
So, I have a favor to ask.
There’s a week until Writing Club starts up for May/June. (23 May start)
Even if you’re not keen to join this month, would you share it with your socials?
I’d really appreciate it.
Here’s the nitty gritty—what on earth is Writing Club—blurb:
