I was talking to Ash today. He’s the Aussie bloke I run Writing Club with. Our club is almost full for March, but we’ve noticed something. Only women are signing up. “Have we described it in a way that’s only appealing to women?” I asked. “Perhaps because it’s a Club?” he replied. We’re not sure. But Ash (and I) would love some guy writer friends to come hang out with us too. If you’ve been put off by the book club and cozy socks idea, just think of it as talking shop, drinking black coffee, and your pet bulldog is welcome to join the Zoom calls.
