Happy Mother’s Day! I got my first mother’s day gift from my stepson this year (a very protein heavy breakfast-in-bed with sausages, Haloumi, and chocolate, haha) so that was very special. I hope all of you who are mothers are having a special weekend too.

Part of what we’ll be doing in Writing Club (starting middle of May) is aiming to get more words down on the page.

I found a couple of tools to help—because sometimes we need a tool to keep us accountable and encouraged!

Here’s a free one I used to write a novel in one month last year: Pacemaker. And here’s a new one I found today called 750 Words. It’s $5 a month and helps you keep on track with a 3-pages a day goal.
